You know I don't think I was always a believer. I was taught that our Heavenly Father existed, and that Jesus Christ suffered for our sins, but did I believe? Here is my story how I started my path to believing.
You know, God loves us. One of the ways he shows that love is by giving us the scriptures. An instruction manual for this life and the one to come. A way for us to understand His great plan and what we can do to return to Him. Elder Oaks said it best,”Our understanding of God’s plan and His doctrine gives us an eternal perspective.” What better way to understanding His plan then studying the doctrines of the gospel! Now that we have discussed the why, let’s discuss the how.
2 Nephi 4:16
I thought that it would be a great idea to have my first blog post about the title of this Blog. It comes from 2 Nephi 4:16 "Behold, my soul delighteth in the things of the Lord; and my heart pondereth continually upon the things which I have seen and heard." It is an amazing feeling when our soul is being enlightened, by being given courage, humbleness, and even a stupor of thought. I chose the title of this blog to show what The Lord has done, is now doing, and what he will do. If we are able to ponder what we have seen and heard, our testimonies will be strengthened. Our path will be a little brighter for us to follow.
